The Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law celebrated its eleventh annual Constitution Day Project this September. Each year, volunteers teach challenging constitutional questions in Colorado high schools to commemorate the 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution. 

Justice Angela R. Riley, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation of Oklahoma and internationally esteemed scholar, will join the Colorado Law community on October 18, 2022 to deliver the 11th annual John Paul Stevens Lecture. 

On Tuesday, August 16, Colorado Law’s newest students got together in person for the very first time. The Class of 2025, made up of 12 LLMs, 11 MSLs, and 165 JD students, had the opportunity to eat, drink, and be merry at the Rayback Collective in beautiful Boulder. The next day, Orientation 2022 began in earnest.

This summer, Silicon Flatirons brought together students from across the nation to participate in the 11th iteration of Startup Summer.

Colorado Law's Sustainable Community Development Clinic (SCDC) has formed a new non-profit to support residents of a Ft. Collins mobile home park in preserving the affordability of their homes.

Jonathan Skinner-Thompson, who joined the Colorado Law clinical faculty in 2020, has transitioned from his role as associate clinical professor and director of the Getches-Green Natural Resources, Energy & Environmental Law

Colorado Law alumna Christina Stanton ’15 joins the faculty as an associate clinical professor and director of the American Indian Law Clinic. Stanton previously served as an adjunct professor at the law school, interim director of the American Indian Law Clinic, and director of operations at First Peoples Worldwide, an organization housed in the Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies at the University of Colorado.

Michael Pappas joins the Colorado Law faculty this fall. A preeminent voice in property, natural resource, and environmental law, his scholarship draws upon interdisciplinary influences associated with economics and political economy.
