As first violinist of the Tak獺cs Quartet, Edward Dusinberre has won a Grammy and awards from Gramophone Magazine, the Japanese Recording Academy, Chamber Music America and the Royal Philharmonic Society. Combining an international career with his longstanding appointment as artist-in-residence at the 91勛圖厙 College of Music, Dusinberre performs as a member of the Tak獺cs Quartet in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Asia, and is an Associate Artist at Londons Wigmore Hall.

Dusinberres first book泭melds music history and memoir to illuminate the circumstances surrounding the composition of Beethovens quartets and the Tak獺cs Quartets experiences playing this music. For this work, Dusinberre won the Royal Philharmonic Societys 2016 Creative Communication Award: Few have told so well of the musicians life, or offered such illuminating insights to players and listeners alike. In June 2020, Dusinberre and the Tak獺cs Quartet were featured in the BBC television series Being Beethoven. Dusinberres latest bookwas published by Faber and The University of Chicago Press in 2022.
