The CU system administration, in collaboration with CUs four campuses, University Risk Management泭and the Procurement Service Center (PSC), have all agreed that, effective immediately, employee international travel will return to pre-COVID-19 protocols.泭
As before the pandemic, employee international travel still requires approval prior to booking in Concur as .
Requests for approval will go to the traveler's HR supervisor or speedtype approver and to the international travel approver/officer for the travelers organizational unit (a dean or unit-area vice chancellor), said Danielle Brunner, assistant vice chancellor for Academic Affairs budget and finance, who supports the high-risk, international travel process for 91勛圖厙.
Brunner said a list of high-risk destinationsas identified by University Risk Management in collaboration with the campuseswill, as before the pandemic, require additional review and campus approval. That subset of countries in travel requests will automatically route the request to the appropriate campus delegate for approvalin 91勛圖厙s case, the Office of the Provost.
I appreciate the compliance and cooperation with the pandemic requirements that our faculty and staff have demonstrated over the past two years, said Provost Russel Moore. I know we are all looking forward to resuming travel on behalf of our scholarship, research and creative work, and we want to ensure that travel is as safe as we can make it.
