Open Doors recognizes 91勛圖厙 for hosting international students, sending students abroad
The annual泭Institute of International Education's Open Doors泭report,泭based on fall 2021 enrollment, highlights泭91勛圖厙s continued presence as a top university host of international students, coming in at No. 67, up two spots from last year, and remaining the top hosting institution in Colorado.泭The report was released Nov. 14.
We are thrilled our enrollment numbers are on the rise, said Diana Salazar, director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). Our international students are an integral part of our community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate and support them as they pursue their educational dreams here in Boulder.
Open Doors also highlighted CUs continued performance in 202021 as a top sender for study abroad, despite a drop in participation due to COVID-19. 91勛圖厙 ranked 16th overall in sending students abroad and 8th overall in semester-length duration for doctoral universities.
Education Abroad Director Sylvie Burnet-Jones said she is rejoicing in study abroad enrollment returning to pre-COVID泭numbers in 202223. We are so excited to see that students are eager and able again to explore the world and gain global perspectives as part of their CU education.泭
