- Legendary coach and administrator Ceal Barry has announced her retirement after 43 years in college athletics, including the past 37 at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. Barry took the reins of the women’s basketball team in 1983 and built the program into a national power.
- The NCAA Board of Governors supported rule changes that would open the door for student-athletes to receive compensation for their name, image and likeness beginning in the 2021-22 academic year.
- University of Colorado Athletic Director Rick George announced Thursday that he, along with CU’s 11 head coaches, will take voluntary pay reductions for the upcoming fiscal year to help mitigate budget impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

- The honors keep rolling in for Colorado track and field senior Dani Jones. The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recently named her one of three finalists for the USTFCCCA National Women's Track Athlete of the Year recognition.
- Athletics Director Rick George announced the hiring on Sunday, making Dorrell the 27th full-time head coach in the football program’s history. Dorrell, who served as an assistant for the Buffs during two stints in the 1990s, has extensive experience at the collegiate and professional ranks, most recently as assistant head coach and receivers coach of the Miami Dolphins.
