- Twenty-eight 91³Ô¹ÏÍø engineering students have earned National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships for 2023.

- A team of College of Media, Communication and Information students took second place in a competition for their campaign, which was designed to help fight fake news for the News Literacy Project.
- Six 91³Ô¹ÏÍø students and alumni have been named Fulbright finalists for the 2023–24 academic year by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Another two students were named alternates.
