Program Summary

The mission of the Foundation is to support early-stage biomedical investigators engaged in basic and translational research that has the potential to make fundamental advances in biomedical science.

  • Project Summary (2 pages maximum): The summarymust contain a description of the project and, since the Mallinckrodt Board includes non-scientist members, the summary should be understood by a layperson. The summary should include the project’s title.
  • PI Curriculum Vitae
  • Budget Overview (1 page maximum): A basic budget outlining project costs is sufficient; detailed OCG budgets are not required.

Applicants should be in the first to fourth year of their tenure track faculty position and not have current R01 funding.
