The Sustainability Research Initiative (SRI) at the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø was established in 2025 to harness the collective expertise of the university's diverse academic community and address pressing sustainability issues in Colorado and across the nation. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is uniquely positioned to be a sustainability research leader, with relevant expertise across many disciplines and a strong innovation pipeline.Ìý

Call for research advisors (faculty director appointments)

The Sustainability Research Initiative is seeking to build an advisory committee of 4–6 sustainability researchers, compensated through a faculty director appointment, who will help elevate SRI as a new initiative and serve as thought partners and impact amplifiers. Apply by July 15, 2025.
